BULLETIN 22- FAMILIES

Greetings to everyone. These days we can't ignore the fact that families are still our prime social institution, in spite of spectacular scientific and spiritual advances these days. And families are always sensitive. Humans are prone to all manner of intolerance leading to regrettable behaviour, since we have free will to do and say just as we want. Families are often torn by constant strife. As with many religious matters, God's word is distorted and it's isolated from ordinary communication; so families get limited, or no understanding of a very useful thing. When finally admitting to owning a problem it's then that a solution usually comes up. If a matter is unresolved it remains as a persisting problem and sometimes runs into generations of strife. And it's very helpful if we stay close with our spiritual circumstances, not ignore it, but pray when looking for help out of trouble. My 27 years in welfare work made me well aware of many problems with families. They are supposed to be expressions of supreme love, yet many aberrations arise that it's best to bring out for resolution, like alcoholism, rather than cover up. But as Professionals we were not allowed to use any form of spiritual speech to assist (and so it grinds on slowly).
Often it's impossible to live with all our loved ones, for example when residing far away. God is always aware of our pain and it's only in His time that we realise our aspiration to be together with loved ones such as our grandchildren. As God's children we are still doing what we want instead of following His ways.See Matthew 26:41. And there are many attractions that seem overwhelming and lead to complete separations from partners when Lucifer and his evil spirits tempt us See Matthew 6:1`3. We need urgent help with prayer then and Moses' Ten Commandments are also guiding us to be loyal to our spouse; it's a very important matter that must not be ignored, yet it often is. See Acts 26:18

Unbelievers are very prone to please themselves and ignore the loving fellowship of all churches where they can gain life support that may be lacking at home. Churches are one of the most powerful expressions of Christ's love, a healing and miraculous power in the Holy Spirit.

That can be of great assistance when we bring all sincere PRAYER to God as all devoted Christians can attest. Christianity can be better understood sometimes as another form of Ethics. It is readily understandable for the average person. There should not be any fear and suspicion about Christianity that unbelievers display, often about their own sins. See Matthew 12:31 Through their ignorance and prejudice (urgently needing addressing) Christianity has too often been ignored, yet it offers peace, comfort and protection to believers who come to Jesus.

Blessings of God to all. Amen .
